The layer properties (where I thought I'd fix this) show opacity 255 now but the image still has unwanted transparency. I'm new to, it may be obvious to others how to do this but not to me I can't figure out how to remove all transparency from the image / layer. What I would like to do is eliminate all transparency from the image so that I can then use the eraser tool to make transparent the areas that I want transparent.
